This is my review of the Berman Center Astrea Remote vibrating panty.You probably know of or heard of these vibrating panties because of the movie The Ugly Truth. It was in the movie that this model, by Berman, was made famous. After I saw the movie I bought this pair of vibrating underwear and here is my unbiased review of the pros and cons of such a model.
What are the pros?
These panties are pretty affordable, they are priced around 40 dollars and this means you don’t have to think too much when you purchase them. A good price for a novelty.
They can be used with a wireless remote control which is extremely important. If you are like me and you like using these in public, you need a remote. You can either operate it yourself, or give control over to your partner, something which I find quite cool. I think the range is about 12 feet, which is decent. You can have your husband at the other side of the table controlling your every vibration.
The power of the Berman Center Astrea Remote vibrating thong is quite powerful and therefore you can get what a good orgasm with it, if it is placed in the right position. This is a double edged sword however, as I will explain below.
The lingerie is also quite comfortable and it won’t irritate you when it is turned off, this was something I was a little worried about before I started as I have quite sensitive skin.
What are the cons?
The motor is quite powerful (Good!) and Loud (Not so good). The fact that it is loud means it is going to be tough to use in quite restaurants or other such public places. If you went to something loud like a bar or a football match then you could definitely get away with it no problem, but in a quite setting it is a definite no .
The vibrator has a tendency to fall out of place when using it, this can be very frustrating if you are about to reach climax. It is also annoying because if you are in a public place you can’t just keep adjusting it, that would look weird.
Overall
Overall I would give these panties a 3.5 out 5 and I would recommend buying them if you want some novelty fun. Yes I know they are not perfect, but they are just a novelty.
